UKCP registered Integrative psychotherapist working with adults, children and adolescents, individually and in a family context.
I work with a wide range of psychological problems and have long-standing, in-depth experience of working therapeutically with trauma- and stress-related problems, including complex trauma involving dissociative features. I have extensive experience of working with the dying and with their families both before and after a death. I feel honoured to be able to assist people during these important transitional stages.
My work integrates scientifically-informed therapies, such as CBT, with a holistic approach, allowing for the recognition of the interrelationship between our mind, body and soul. I am passionate about helping my clients move from ‘dis- ease’ into wellness, improved functioning and healing. I have worked in a wide variety of settings, including NHS, Charitable Sector and the Prison Service and as such bring a wealth of experience into the therapeutic work with my clients.
All my work is underpinned by an atmosphere of safety, compassion and acceptance. I am dedicated to enabling people re-build their strength and personal resilience from within. This helps clients to work through and process challenging life experiences safely and opens an inner path to integration and personal growth.
My work takes place at The Cotswold Centre for Trauma Healing in Stroud.
