Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy is an effective treatment that helps to (re-) balance the nervous system and supports your body’s natural ability to restore and heal itself. With compassionate, gentle, hands-on holding, Craniosacral Therapy assists in releasing areas of tension so that your system can realign itself for optimum health. Craniosacral Therapy works with the whole body, but focuses on the spine, the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, organs and the fascia. As the tension and restriction of nerve passages is eased with Craniosacral Therapy, the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the body is optimised around the nervous system, restoring the body to its natural state of health. Once the source of the problem has been determined, gentle hands-on holding restores the natural movement of the fluid, the related bones and soft tissues, which assist the body to self-correct. Every cell in the body is connected to the craniosacral system; its role is so vital that an imbalance or dysfunction in it can cause a range of physical and emotional problems.
